If you can join a Wi-Fi network, you can set up smalltalk.
Scan the phone
Open the parent app and scan the barcode on the bottom of the phone. Pick a 7-digit kidgrid number for your child.
Add your Wi-Fi
Type your home Wi-Fi name and password into the app — the phone gets them automatically.
Plug in once
Connect the included cable to your router for the first setup. The phone grabs its settings by itself.
Put it anywhere
Unplug from the router and place the phone wherever your child likes — it stays connected over Wi-Fi.
Calls only happen between approved people
Every smalltalk phone gets its own kidgrid number. Kids call cousins and friends on their kidgrid phones, plus the regular numbers you've approved — and nobody else can reach them.
Closed by default
The contact list starts empty. Every person on it is there because you put them there.
